"During the traffic stop, officers discovered that one of the occupants of the vehicle was Tyrell Christian, who was wanted for the Sept. 28th, 2022 murder of Ethan Mooney," the police stated in the release. "Officers attempted to take Christian into custody at which point Christian began to run away. Officers gave chase and were able to take Christian into custody."

A firearm was found in the vehicle near where Christian had been sitting, the police detailed in the release.
